Dr. leah

Leah Bohnert, OD

Optometrist


Leah Bohnert, OD, earned her Doctor of Optometry from Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Her training focused on ocular disease and co-management of cataract surgery and LASIK procedures. Prior to graduate school, Dr. Leah Bohnert attended the University of Wisconsin- Oshkosh. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in science, majoring in biology with a healthcare science emphasis.

Dr. Leah grew up in Oshkosh, Wisconsin with 3 younger sisters. She is very close with her family and enjoys spending as much time with them as she can. Dr. Leah enjoys rollerblading, working out, reading- especially Nicholas Sparks, and trying new food. She is enjoying Texas and can’t wait to explore.

“I love being able to help my patients and not have to worry about the protocol of insurance. Optometry has been my passion since I was a little girl, so this opportunity is my dream come true.”

Dr. Treadaway

Chris Treadaway, HIS

Licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist



Christopher P. Treadaway is your local Licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist for Eyes & Ears. He has been involved in helping others enhance their lives through state-of-the-art medical devices for over 25 years. Chris is extremely passionate about how hearing instruments change lives and is anxious to meet with you and your loved ones.

Chris is licensed as a Fitter & Dispenser of Hearing Instruments by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations. In addition, he has been through extensive training and is very proficient with all audiometric equipment to service your needs. Chris also volunteers as an appointed Proctor/Rater for the TDLR.

When he is not caring for his patients, Chris enjoys spending quality time with his wife of over 25 years, three wonderful children, and five pets. His hobbies include: playing alto sax, golf, reading, and most of all…traveling.

Maria

Maria is originally from a small town in East Texas but she fell in love with the Fort Worth area and now calls it her home. Her hobbies include hanging out with family, boating at the lake house with friends, working out, walks to the fridge (lol), traveling with her boyfriend and playing with her dog!

“I enjoy helping people find glasses that express their personality. I believe the right eyewear can make a bolder statement than most people realize! You can really showcase a great personality with the perfect glasses! Also, I LOVE how simple we have made everything in our practice to ensure our patients have the best experience they’ve ever had!”

Maria

Mary was born and raised in Pasadena, California – home of the Rose Bowl! She is a west coast girl with a country heart. Mary fell in love with a Marine from Texas, married and soon after had their son, Andy. She loves Jesus, horses, and people!
